Commercial Strategy: Digital Disruption and Recovery
How will the industry deal with the short-term and the long term impact of the COVID pandemic? Among many issues, there is the future of corporate business, emerging tech around groups, the integration of short term rental into the lodging market and the need to manage with large tech distribution platforms operating alongside traditional hotel brands and independents. All have implications for those involved in enabling distribution and managing digital assets. It may be daunting, but the hotel industry can thrive. Cindy Estis Green will chat with Chinmai Sharma about the ways to manage the new landscape and the tools and evolving playbooks available to meet the challenge head-on.
